Bringing back an old favorite: Community Supported Agriculture

March 20th, 2009

Spring greetings from Mustard Seed Farms.

We want to let you know about a new produce option we are offering again this year, after a 6 year break. We are sending this to all of you who were in the Community Garden in 2008 to let you know about another option for you.

If you, or someone you know, would like our great organic produce each week by just buying it, check this out. Two former CG members have asked us to start the CSA program again for those that do not have the time to put in the work hours. They will be picking the produce up and taking it to Newberg for a weekly pick up. The details are attached.

We will be sending out the revised info for Community garden late April or early May, when people start to think about gardening. There will be an increase in the fees and we will try to clarify some of the questions that arise each year, including some new ones this last fall.

Farmer David Brown has been growing fresh produce for over forty years. His giant pumpkins are legendary while demand for his organic produce grows each year. Follow along with him by reading his blog - there's always something new sprouting up!
